We stopped for dinner tonight and had fish and chips and some wings. The fish and chips were very good, great batter on a generous portion of fish. Lots of fries prepared perfectly. The wings were the Friday special, buy one, get one half price. I had salt and pepper wings with blue cheese dip and a side of medium sauce as well. The medium sauce was a great add on and just the right amount of heat for me! We enjoyed this tavern and the service was very friendly.

We came to the area for a week of fishing and relaxation. Fishing was great great. Lakeview Tavern was awesome. Food was great, service was even better. We ended up eating there five times. I tried something different each time. Lakeview classic burger, fish and chips, bacon wrapped hamburger steak, BLT were are all great. Fresh soup of the day was very good. I specially liked the chicken corn chowder. Karen, our server, was charming. She took care of us three evenings. I hope her ribs get better soon. If you’re in the area, stop at Lakeview Tavern for a meal and a beer. (Diet Coke in my case) You won’t be disappointed.

This little gem of a place we found while road tripping. It was just the little spot we needed! Exactly what we were looking for! The food was so good! I had the taco salad and my husband had the fish. Everything is handmade, and it really makes all the difference! Full flavour. The restaurant has so much history, I loved learning about it all. Our server was lovely too! She gave us a lot of local sights to checkout!

Everything ordered was delicious. We got the fish and chips, the Lakeview burger, and the bacon and cheddar burger as well as the Jr burger. The only thing is we didn't notice that the Sunday special for the fish wasn't applied, and we still paid the 17.99... she was getting it either way, lol. Service was great and the restaurant is adorable

Unexpected fun Saturday afternoon listening to Fred Brown & Friends Old Time Fiddlers. Went for the food and got to enjoy live music as well. The food and service was good. Jake was our server.
